title : food that loves you back - halia singapore
halia, nestling in the midst of lush greenery of Botanic Garden Singapore, celebrates the marriage between the european cuisine and tinge of asian touches. to impress me, i was gingerly seated by him at the quietest corner at al fresco with the dimmest light.

foliage and food... ...  do not think about the possibility of having attack by mosquitoes at dusk, the ambience should be quite romantic

shredded king crab with avocado

seafood was not meant to be shredded. perhaps i am not a totally fine diner, i wished to have enormous chunk of king crabs with cubes of avocados to match.

and you must order the roasted lamb rack in javanese spice

just because it was not the commonly prepared herb crusted ones. nevertheless the best meat should be juicy and tender. the alluring part was the marinade was able to penetrate into the meat and the lamb surely... did not die in vain. =D

chilean Seabass en Papillote

i was fish-deprived hence i ordered seabass but again, i still favoured his red meat instead.

i took pride in my photography skill sometimes - of being able to capture the more 'model-ly side of him

moo-moo's verdict: unless you have been well pampered with finer cuisine, otherwise i personally feel the money spent might be put into better use for channeling to dinner of a grade slightly lower for less rigidity's sake. however, it is absolutely appropriate for annual occasion especially with your special loved ones, if top notch customer service and ambience are priorities for your date night.
