Queer. Quirky. Quenching

title : unconventionally yours.
you see, after the great emergence of Facebook, it then became the downfall of blogging.

I, too, became indolent in blogging. This was mainly and unanimously, due to the ease of getting comments (or attention) and sending message across the globe on how you are coping your life via Facebook in a quicker and substantially more efficient manner than blogging/ writing.

However I do believe blogging/ writing poses more fun and more substances.

because...

just pictures solely dont speak.

big1

big2

and one-liner statement doesnt make any of the pictures come alive either.

in that case, writing and blogging, complementing the pictures, make the entire process of retaining and reviving memories whole again.

frankly, facebooking to me, has done a little bad than good.

it was that one moment particularly when I was bored or had a fight with Mr Besar (hence the confinement at home to sob boohooo), i would tap on the facebook app on my iphone, conveniently updating myself with information, be it regarding politics, scandals or largely my friends' photos.

and guess what added on the salt on the wound of my pure boredom that moment? jealousy and envy, perhaps indistinguishly, came together and bred inside my lonely soul in the tiny cubicle-like room of mine. i could dwell hours and hours, patiently waiting for all photos to load (mind you i was only relying on the speed of gprs in kulai), and subconsciously forgot to be thankful with what i have got. true story.

and i do loathe that entire meaningless event of distraction from boredom, which in turn making me bored, feeling boring about myself and feeling horrible about my life.

of course, please do not feel offended if you were one of those active facebook-er. because i respect anyone's way of channeling their thoughts and (pictures).

and i have decided on mine - blogging and writing and photography.

throughout the year of 2011, i have had so much to say. i have had so much to share. i even have had the hope to inspire. because the truth is 2011 was a another tough year to trot, definitely worth remembering every single second out of it.

again, (should i blame it on facebook again?) the emergence of Facebooking has baflled me as well on which platform or modality i should utilise to speak my mind. hence, my pictures and my less substantial descriptions on them were just all over the place. things became more and more theme-less and disorganised.

you know what, (haha this time i really do hope it's going to be real), i am going to start writing. i want to write about my more unconventional travel and adventures, my unconventional love life, my unconventionally chosen new career pathway, my not-so-unconventional view of life and philosophy, my unconventional experience with God's grace, my perhaps-sort-of-unconventional wisdom on life, my most-of-the-time-unconventional fashion sense and all things not very conventional.

even beginning to resuscitate my blog again at the age of 25ish, writing about a life of a 25ish is already unconventional, because conventionally:
1) im just too old to attract readers

2) people conventionally have stopped blogging or stopped reading blogs

3) come on, am i the only one going to believe facebook is going to be closed down in march 2012, as it has also been announced to be shut down in march 2011?

not so much for attention's sake, i do truly hope someone would google about life or some hidden gem of the borneo island...etc, and may some of my articles bring some inspirations or some sort. i am quite experienced in 'life' now. so yeaaa...

and that provided, i really blog diligently.

if it were to be a sole fashion-themed blog, it would be something conventionally like this:

oh hi, here is the breakdown on what i am wearing:
top: vintage valentino size:XL
tie: mytie
pants: basketball pants from bangkok
bag: vintage doctor bag
sunglassess: gucci's aviator.

hope you like it. muaxxx.
